"The Granville Parent Cooperative Preschool is an unique preschool experience in the Granville Community. I am unaware of any program like it. I was drawn to the school because it is dependent on parent involvement. I feel that parent involvement is key to a child's education and most especially to a very young child's education. It has been so rewarding to see my daughter develop strong bonds to not only her teacher but to her classmates and their parents. It is comforting to know that she has all of these relationships in her life. I also know from experience, because my son is a 'graduate' of the program, that these relationships will last long after her years at the school are over. "We had our children at a much later age than most of the people we know, so we were not around many people with young children, and we also live in a rural area. When I learned of the Co-op, I thought this would be a great way to introduce not only my son, but our family to other families with young children in our area - and that has proven to be even better than I had hoped.
